Shopping in Polis and Paphos area is all about quality much more than quantity. Not only in the material sense, the shopkeepers also make sure that selecting your souvenirs, buying jewellery or find new sunglasses is as much an event to remember as the rest of your holiday. And if your are planning to stay in Polis there are many stores around to help you! From the furniture for your new house, flowers for your garden to complete home cinemas, your favourite cd's & dvd's to kitchens and swimming pools.
The shops are located all over town. The sea is a theme you will find in many items sold here: anything you might need for a day at the beach, natural sponges and even a complete beautyline based on marine minerals.
Most shops close at 18.00hrs during the Winter period (November-March), and at 19.00 hrs during the Spring and Autumn period (April-May and 15th September - 31st October), and at 19:30 hrs during the Summer period (June - 14th of September). As from 1st of June till 14th of September shops in towns close between 13:00 and 16:00 hrs for the summer afternoon break.
